Rochester Main Street and Holidays on the Hill have partnered to launch Guilty of Giving, a community fundraiser supporting local events, downtown programming, and holiday traditions in Rochester.
The lighthearted campaign features local leaders, business owners, volunteers, and community supporters getting “locked up” and raising “bail” for the cause. Proceeds will be split equally between Rochester Main Street and Holidays on the Hill.
Community members can participate by making a direct donation to the campaign, contributing toward the bail of a specific participant, signing up as a fundraiser, joining or creating a team, or sharing the campaign with others.
The organizations will also host Visit the Prison Yard on Saturday, August 8, at The Garage. The event will feature live music, themed activities, and opportunities to support the fundraiser in person. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and tickets are available at the door or online.
