Rochester Public Library to host Author Talk with Mark Hobson on 1/10

Jan 5, 2024

Join Mark Hobson as he discusses his book, The Mantle which is about “the cloth” that covered the head of Jesus in death, known as “The Mantle,” and about those who possess it. The mantle of Jesus is first made known in the Gospel of John, found in the empty tomb after the resurrection.

The first book in a trilogy, The Mantle is written in alternating chapters of the mantle’s past and the present. It’s based on Scripture, tradition, and the author’s own imagination.

Mark Hobson is an ordained Christian minister with advanced degrees in theology, business administration, higher education administration, and neuroscience.

The program will be held on Wednesday, January 10th at 6:00 pm in the Community Room, at the Rochester Public Library, 65 South Main Street. Registration is not required for this presentation.
